Winter travel

Waiting for a sale

We caught a bus to Andong a few weeks ago, first to an outdoor market which is apparently a dying tradition, though we live near a very big one so it wasn't new for us.

Blood sausage for sale at the market.

Then it was off to a cliff at a point where we looked over an old village, named Hahoe which is wrapped by a river.

Then to Hahoe.
Playing on the biiiiiig swing.

Ended the day at a traditional paper making factory. Notice the bamboo pullies.

A week ago we went to Chuncheon, a place famous for 'M.T' - when usually university students get together for bonding and a lot of drinking. The skies not so blue but the snow and the ice made it beautiful in a different way. I took pome photo's of the local dogs. Poor things must have been cold.

Seeing this frozen waterfall was the highlight of the trip for me. I had always wanted to see one and people were climbing this one! Crazy.
