Some people see cherry blossom as a symbol of our fleeting lives
I wonder if they stop to look at all the other delights of Spring
before their fleeting lives pass.

Magnolia

Azalea

Some kind of violet, with it's face to the sky.

Christmas cactus

Many people I work with have grown up with the smell of lilac. The smell for me will be of spring in Asia (as long as I'm not standing near a lilac tree and a smoker!)

I don't know what this is but to me it looks like a fly with the wing speed of a hummingbird so I will call it a hummingfly.

With all the different flowers and trees and coming back to life, I'm glad that life has more than just snow like cherry blossom to look forward to.

If you start in Hyewa, Seoul on a walk in a palace ground, you may find your feet end up in Jogno. Sometimes travelling on the subway can be really misleading in terms of distance. Woogi and I went to a palace in the weekend to enjoy the Spring weather. Less crowded and peaceful than visiting some of the other parks around Seoul, and we got some free tea tree seeds which are now planted and we are waiting for.

Spring has arrived.

These look like beautiful ducks but I'm told they are not ducks but wanang (in English I don't know) As usually seen with birds the male is the pretty one. My camera needs a better zoom!
