Friday 14th was White Day.Though we are not into commercial days I'm still a girl and it is a nice feeling to be treated. It doesn't need to be White Day for that though hey! Woogi and I went on a day trip yesterday. We stopped first at a greenhouse garden.

Woogi with his 'I'm already an ajoshi' (older man) pose.

Then onto a small aquarium with Korean fish. They all looked a bit grumpy.

And then to the main event - picking big fat, juicy sweet strawberries. We put as many as we could into our stomachs and punnets.

A chicken guarding a dead sock.

Finally we ended the day by making soap. We were given a speil about the benefits of herbs before choosing a rubbery mold. Melted stuff was poured into the mold, we added 5 drops of whatever essence we fancied and 7 drops of coloring and stirred. 30 mins it had set. Not very difficult at all.

The Christmas cactus at home is in bloom. Very pretty. We are running out of places for our plants. Woogi bought an azalea and I bought a daphne (my favorite Sprng flower). Mmmm... note to self we have no more room for plants!

Winter has almost lost it's grip but it seems to be struggling it's way to spring with some icy mornings and sprinklings of snow.

This is a little fish that likes to nibble on dead skin. Dr Fish is an interesting experience where lots of these little fish nibble at whatever part of your body you let them. Not good for ticklish people and a bit debatable about how safe they are.

Korea (and Japan) seem to be very good at digging up trees and putting them somewhere else. These trees have been dug up from on campus. I don't know where they have gone.
